How It All Began:
Sing Sang Jewelry is a family-owned business with deep roots in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Established in 1971, the shop has been a trusted destination for custom jewelry and watch battery repairs for over five decades. The name “Sing Sang” is the English translation of the founder’s Chinese name, honoring a legacy of craftsmanship and cultural pride.
The founder, a skilled jeweler, built a reputation for creating personalized pieces, including custom Chinese character name pendants that reflect both tradition and individuality. His dedication to the craft continues to inspire the business today.
In 2004, the next generation expanded the product line to include sterling silver jewelry, beginning with Hawaiian-inspired designs and later introducing tarnish-free pieces sourced from Shanghai. Known for their unique style and affordability, these collections have brought joy to customers seeking meaningful, fashionable accessories.
